Plant Based for the Planet is a city-sponsored initiative highlighting the environmental effects of our food choices.

This September 2024, we are collaborating with locally-owned restaurants in Dallas, TX to introduce plant-based specials as a way to help the community lower its collective climate impact.

Each restaurant is creating at least 2 new plant-based specials that are available the entire month of September.

At the end of the challenge, we will present a report that highlights the environmental benefits of the initiative, including reductions in greenhouse gases achieved by the community and our restaurant partners!
